Give Thanks for Thanksgiving Weekend With Comedy Shows!!

I have quite a few shows coming up between now and December 20.  Wonderful things just keep happening, and 2011 keeps kicking some serious butt when it comes to GREAT years!  So I’m grateful for 2011 so far.

Here are some happening this weekend:

  • This Improvised Life (Sat. nov. 26, 6 pm, the PIT, $5, free with any student ID from any improv school)
Poupak Sepehri & Kevin Mullaney Present: This Improvised Life
Kevin Mullaney, host of the Improv Resource Center Podcast, has brought together a few friends for a one time show at the PIT. They will pick a theme from the audience and present improvised stories about that theme. A fun night of theatre for your ears, a radio show without the radio.
Guests: Kurt Braunohler, Becky Drysdale, Kevin Hines, Jodi Lennon, Jed Resnik, Ashley Ward
You can make reservations here, and see the Facebook invite here.

  • InvAsian (Sat. Nov 26, 7 pm, the PIT, $5, free with any student ID from any improv school)
A team of performers from all three improv theaters, who have one thing in common: they are all Asian! Come see the diversity of the Asian continent.  Hilarity guaranteed.
With: Chris Grace, Phil Magbitang, Nicole Pasquale, Woody Fu, Tony Mui, Shalini Tripathi, Nicole C. Lee, Binu Paulose and Poupak Sepehri
Make reservations here. Facebook invite here.
I am INCREDIBLY proud to be a part of this team of amazing performers!

Come on out and laugh and hang with us!

About Me

I am a French-Iranian woman in New York. I have a passion for comedy, and have been lucky to be performing all over New York since 2010. I was a TV producer and a head writer for a morning live news show in France, as well as a free lance journalist and a book editor for many years.

I am also a performer at the UCB & The PIT in New York.

Check out my indie teams: Pou&Nic and PANTS!.

My other blog: Women Improvisers Trust

I am involved with the Diversity Initiative at the UCB and manage their blog too: UCBDifference.tumblr.com

Some of the things I do outside of comedy and my day job:

I fight cancer with a passion - I want to contribute to a world where cancer will be as benign as a simple cold. Where you can donate against cancer of any kind and give hope to families and patients
